An objectively successful candidate still needs to satisfy the practical assessment criterion.

Read the official marking guide carefully. For a legal document, consider whether you chose the correct procedural form, identified the relevant requests and supported them with sound legal arguments. For individual practical answers, look at how the correction criteria reward the essential reasoning and conclusion. This gives direction for revision or an allowable appeal.

Interpreting resits and next steps

The OAB provisions include specific conditions under which a candidate who falls short in the practical stage can use an objective-stage qualification in the immediately following edition. Article 13 of the OAB regulation states that an issued approval certificate has indefinite validity throughout Brazil.
